I haven’t read or heard of the books Silo is based on. The story is good and interesting. The series takes place 140 years after the apocalypse. The 10,000 people who are now left live in a tank, and these people have never been outside the tank. They don’t even know what stars are. But they do know that going outside the tank is fatal. Some people choose to go outside to learn more, but they always die. Those who stay in the tank can see through the window every time someone wants to leave and see how and when they die. Rebecca Ferguson plays the role of Juliet Nichols, who is trying to figure out what’s outside the tank and why they can’t get out without dying. The acting is good, as is the character development. However, the pace can be a little slow due to some filler episodes. They could definitely have shortened the series by at least two episodes, but that doesn’t bother me that much because the series is overall very good. I look forward to season 2 with more suspense, mystery, and answers about what’s going on outside the tank!
